He graduated in 2014 and received the award for the Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry recognized by the Academy of Osseointegration.

After graduation, Dr. Hubbard served five years in the Navy as a Lieutenant in the Dental Corps. He spent two years as the Dental Department Head on the amphibious ship, the USS Bataan, where he received a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for his meritorious service. In his final tour at the Naval Station Norfolk Dental Clinic, he received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal and had the privilege of working under some of the best endodontists in the Navy.

Having developed a passion for endodontics, Dr. Hubbard chose to attend endodontic residency at the state-of-the-art University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Here he received a Certificate in Endodontics and also a Master’s Degree in Dental Science for completion of his research on nanobubble technology. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Hubbard was honored to receive Tennessee’s John T.
